Nothing to do with putting the Prem's top striker on corner duty, thus making life easier for the opposition defenders I presume I have already commented on this.

I really don't buy the "poor Roy, he's had no funds, he's adapted the tactics to the squad available" BS. As manager of England he had the cream of the crop from which to select, because of his tactics he turned what looked a fairly decent team on paper into a laughing stock. Roy Hodgson is the problem, stop making excuses for his negativity. Kane on corners? Need a goal? McCarthy for McArthur? Should be given a fond farewell and move on. Why is it a problem keeping us in the Premier. It appears your the one with negativity.

Like what we did with FDB but we need to give another manager a chance and learn from what didn't work for FDB. The process was right, the appointment was not so it needs tweaking not scrapping completely. Will probably have to give Roy a pay-off given that he's got a contract extension. More madness from the business-running side of things That was my point really. The owners can't sell much a vision when everybody knows some of them want out. There's a lot of talk about overhaul this and overhaul that but with the prospect of a shorter pre-season, everyone being strapped for cash and an ageing, unbalanced squad it's difficult to see a way out. Constant references to wage bills etc are a complete red herring as so many players have been with the club a while and are on the way down or have become injury prone (or have been plain crap). Dyche's name keeps getting thrown about but he appears to have had a breakdown in relationship with the Burnley owner over resources and we've got previous for similar. I also seem to recall (correct me if I'm wrong) that one of the Palace supporting journos tweeted or reported that Dyche had been interviewed at the time of the De Boer fiasco but was discounted very quickly afterwards.

And in my opinion it's a No. Football is a game of opinions after all! But let's look at some of the reasons -
Of course, the past 5 games have been pretty dreadful but it needs to be balanced in the round. We were safe with 8 games to go and the circumstances of Covid make the games feel like friendlies. Roy knows the squad needs freshening up as he has said so often enough; he also knows the kind of younger players who are likely to work. I would certainly trust his judgement in the market and its most unlikely he would have gone after the likes of Benteke or Sakko - two of the three big earners - in my judgement.

I'm happy with Roy! I really really really really really really really don't want to do a Charlton! 🙈 Even West Ham have tried moving to the "next level" and it's almost costing them! I'm happy to loose a few, win a few, loose a few and win a few! It happens it's football! If I wanted entertaining football and win every week I would have supported a top 4 team! Im happy to fly over every 2 weeks to watch Palace win, loose or draw! Whatever football we play I'm just happy to watch them play! :-) For me these are the good times! I'm happy enough!

Players train hard, are well prepared and know their jobs, but sometimes due to a variety of reasons they just don't deliver when they cross that white line much to the frustration of the manager. And all of them froze in 2014 and 2016. Liverpool players freely admit they didn’t enjoy it under Hodgson. Common denominator? Hmmmmmmmm Man calls you a horse - punch him in the face Second man calls you a horse - call him an idiot Third man calls you a horse - time to get fitted with a saddle.

Comes back to accountability of the manager.

My instinct is to say no to getting rid of Roy. However, if we lose the remaining games (quite likely looking at the opposition) then I wouldn’t argue with him leaving by mutual consent.

We had eighteen shots at their goal and only four were on target, please explain how Hodgson made the cream of the crop miss the target completely fourteen times.

Why would he do that, he has done a miraculous job with the squad, how can we be so awful with backing a manager that is Palace through and through. We can beat Moan.U tonight they were poor at the end against Southampton who I thought looked extremely average with some dreadful passing and we can beat Wolves in the same way we beat them last season, Spurs look awful. We should back our manager.
