I feel that a new manager be drafted in, finish the season with him, he learns what he has to work with, who he wants, doesn't, etc, and rebuild this summer and next winter.

Roy cannot go on for ever. I feel when you hit a certain age, generally speaking, your mindset changes - could be negative, could be passive... I do feel you lose something.

Roy needs a couple of good results, pat on the back, a good bit of pr saying he selected the replacement and let us move on.

for me, personally... I would have taken Fat sam back for a couple of years. Just to get that spark back whilst the board look for potential longer term targets.

If 7-0 loss and many otherwise winnable games on which we lost points is OK with you, then our ambitions/horizons for this club are different. Happy Saturday everyone - had this weird dream / nightmare last night. My team got stuffed 7.0 at home by today’s opponents and then Boris came on tv and said we were going into tier 4 and Christmas was cancelled. We all know there isn’t a tier 4 and as for us letting in 7 goals - No chance! Must get on with some ironing before settling down for the match - Have a good day everyone ;-)

I presume his brief was to keep us in the Premiership while the management sort out the next phase of development. He has done that, admitedly it hasn't been pretty at times.

Think Roy will be allowed to finish the season. Hopefully discussions behind the scenes are going on now and a definite decision has been made for the end of the season between him and the chairman/owners etc. It would of been nice to have a manager already in the wings, not Dougie please. Gaining experience from Roy, not suggesting they put in place everything from his tenure. Also replacements at the moment look thin on the ground. Putting a new, unproven PL manager now would be a huge gamble, compared to say the beginning of next season, where things can be rectified over a longer time period if need be.

I'm finding it hugely difficult to stop myself being extremely rude to some of these so called fans who want our manager out and it seems that no matter what the sensible fans on here say in return they just keep on coming with all their total absolute garbage.

No surprise to me whatsoever with both instances, Liverpool on clinical form will destroy anyone in front of them and this virus was obviously going to have a field day with us, our stupid silly immoral prime minister is unbelievably unable to set any example of any kind to show us how to behave during a pandemic, your dream was pure reality.
