Sorry to hear that, mate. It must be a worry. Fingers crossed for you that she's soon vaccinated. I was more relieved that I realised I'd be when my ol' Mum was finally vaccinated. It felt like a weight was lifted off. Thanks mate. To be honest she’s more honked off that no one can get to her 90th birthday than about getting the jab.

| Had my first Pfizer jab on Thursday morning at Headcorn aerodrome and been waiting for some ill effects ... there's been absolutely nothing to report!

| Being an old'n I had mine a couple of weeks ago, but don't worry chaps if you've not had yours yet.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. | |

Yes, while hopefully elderly getting the jab should offer good protection, it would clearly be better for all care home staff too also, so it doesn't send out a great message.

I get the 'my choice' argument, but what it can so easily be of direct detriment to those being cared for, you'd think getting vaccinated would be a no brainer. As you rightly say, most of it comes down to unfounded fears.
