£5m payoff and £3m buyout from Newcastle seems like it was worth it honestly. Saved us after the Pulis/Warnock shim sham. Great start to the following season. Some great wins. A cup final. Some great signings. Would have liked to have kept Jedi for leadership, but if we had made an £8m player signing that moved on after some good performances and some poor ones, we probably wouldn't moan much. Clap him off and move on to the next chapter.
