I think it depends on the first goal. If we score in the first half - Palace 3-1 if we concede the first goal we'll lose 0-2. Gotta stop Defoe. We do that and we'll win.

I'm hopeful rather than expectant after Tuesday. Our home form has been terrible for two years and reversing this is Allardyce's biggest challenge and why it was obvious that Pardew wasn't good enough IMO.

I'd take a 1-0 over a 5-1 right now hands down. Massive that we build in the clean sheet and get our first home one in the league under BFS. An allerdyce special with Benteke converting a set piece just before half time and a solid defensive performance is what I dream for. A nervy hold on to a lead that we see through would do wonders for the confidence of the team.
