Yup but the one nailed on for me is villa. He who all but dumps the team that got you up and chucks 12 new players into the mix 8s doomed from day one. The other 2? Ask me after the clocks change.

A good few people on here had already written Norwich off last week you would think of all people palace fans would no better pukki will score a lot of goals this year he's very much like aj was for us but they have a more tactically astute manager than we did in those days

For Norwich think wolves last season.

Looking at Brighton’s central defence struggle when teams counter attack their better football this season it’s still possible they could be like Pardew’s version of Palace.

They are being incredibly arrogant over on NSC so sincerely hoping that it comes back to bite them on the bum. I've been expecting us to get relegated since Ayew was given the 9 shirt so anything better than that is a bonus.
"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017. |

I believe there where none of the new signings in yesterdays team, they still lost though, but i read they had a good game.

It’s too early to call, but I have a gut feeling about Newcastle this time . We could be in the mix, but I think there will be 3 worst teams than us. So I would go with Sheffield United, Newcastle United and Villa. I hope Norwich stay up as that is is a good away day and I like Delia’s pies!

I thought Villa looked decent yesterday, they created loads of chances.

It's way too soon to talk about who's going down in my opinion. If we lose today then you would struggle to think of three teams that will finish below us, especially if we get a few injuries.

Villa are suffering from mistakes or taking liberties in their own third. That one where the def mid I think dummied receiving the ball and ran away without it which you’d do up the other end would’ve made any manager explode with rage. As Danny Murphy also said on another mistake, ‘Defensive midfielders can’t afford to give the ball away in the premier League.’ (Its then the team attacking vs usually one def mid and 2 CB’s to get a bit on goal. Whether they have the ability at the back to tighten up or need to not create so many chances in doing so because the defensive ability isn’t there we’ll find out.

They conceded two goals yesterday from mistakes, one from Heaton and one from Douglas Luiz (although he did score a cracker!), interestingly both new signings. Not sure if there were any more someone else can add more info. I think Villa look half decent and they wouldn’t be my favourites. If they go much longer without picking up points however pressure may start to tell.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
