Last season he played 33 games for Cardiff and did well in a strugglig team.This season he has only featured in 2 games for us,started against Colchester and came on in the 85th minute at Tottenham.He probably regrets joining us and I wouldn't be surprised to see him move to pastures new in January.

My understanding is that we paid a loan fee of £1.5 Mill with an option to buy for £15 Mill.At this juncture I cannot see us exercising that option.

The big issue might be that the man himself says his best position is playing behind a striker, but the way we are setting up is 9 men in our own half, Ayew on the halfway line and Wilf pottering about where he sees fit.

Last season for Cardiff he actually looked like he puts in a shift, so I would rather see him coming off the bench than Tekkers. If he doesn't get into the team by January then surely he'll leave.

You can't complain about our results this season, but I'm struggling not to complain about how unentertaining it has been to watch at times and I'm still clinging to the distant hope that Camarasa can be a shining light.

They need to update our badge

This does tie in with a story a heard a while back. It concerns our lack of getting in a RB in the summer. Apparently, Roy was offered about 5 different right backs during the summer and didn't want any of them. Though, I never heard who he actually wanted.

But, if true, this does illustrate the issues surrounding having a 'director of football'. The manager doesn't get to choose the players, they are just the coach nowadays. Even Pochettino said that recently at Spurs.

Warnock didn't particularly like him, but was in a position where he had to play him at Cardiff, due to lack of options. He has said, he was difficult to manage, always has his own physio and medical team with him and they told Warnock when he can train and when he cant.
I don't see this sort of behaviour going down well with Roy, subsequently he gets nowhere the first team.

Give the man a chance to play Roy...

Real Betis are 3rd from bottom of Spanish league and don’t want him; he can’t get near our squad let alone starting 11. Something doesn’t add up with this fella.

That's strange, I saw Warnock (on T.V) say that he was the best midfielder he had ever worked with, he also tried to keep him for this season.

I am more disappointed that we appear to have wasted yet more money on someone who is not going to be used. We seem to be quite good at that a la Rakip, Jach and to a lesser extent Meyer, McArthy and Sorloth. Roy is clearly a manager who likes his favourites and doesn’t move far down his available list with his selections.

Unless we get some serious injury problems or Camarasa does something seriously impressive in training I doubt we will see him. It’s a rotation battle in midfield for Milivojevic, McArthur, Kouyate, Townsend, Zaha, Schlupp and occasionally Meyer and McArthy
