Our players are so conditioned to hang back that on the rare occasion that the ball falls to someone forward, there is absolutely no one one anywhere near him to pass to. No one makes runs, no one makes themselves available for a pass. The only instinct of every player is to stay in shape, stay back, and defend. 2017 Feb. I agree with half time commentators that Benteke provides no movement or guile in box. I know he was a hero on Monday but he looks like a pudding rooted the ground most of the time. A defenders dream.

Couldn't agree more, it's a disgrase. She just said and that player in pskace defence is causing the wage bill to be high... What's his name... Outrageous, clearly knows nothing about football. Let's not forget this side is shorn of Ferguson, Sakho, Tomkins, McArthur, Schlupp, and Zaha. I'm not saying we'd be Real Madrid with them, but they'd really help.

Alex Scott is a good pundit, and is twice as articulate as Mark Hughes who can't seem to string a sentence together.

This is absolutely what you would expect against Fulham at home, when we could do with the 3 points. Typical Palace! It's been said infinitum but it's shocking how we have almost zero danger players in our team minus Zaha. I'm a season ticket holder (20 years+) but this is only the second game I've watched this season live. Just shocked at how s*** we are, where is the progression since we joined the league? Abysmal really but I suppose all that said we'll have to take a point? Waiting for Matata to come on!

This is absolutely what you would expect against Fulham at home, when we could do with the 3 points. Typical Palace!

It's been said infinitum but it's shocking how we have almost zero danger players in our team minus Zaha.

I'm a season ticket holder (20 years+) but this is only the second game I've watched this season live. Just shocked at how s*** we are, where is the progression since we joined the league?

Abysmal really but I suppose all that said we'll have to take a point?

Pretty much. Opposition press (surround us in possession really) We let them get through our midfield pretty easily in comparison and don’t create a lot or link up with forward players. Only any good for backs against the wall defending.

What these woke organisations don't realise is that by engaging in positive discrimination rather than appointing on merit, it actually makes it harder for someone else, who is competent and happens to tick a box or two, to be respected.

It's a sad state of affairs. What these woke organisations don't realise is that by engaging in positive discrimination rather than appointing on merit, it actually makes it harder for someone else, who is competent and happens to tick a box or two, to be respected.

Benteke chases really well down the line and makes his opponent pass the ball back and not a Palace player in sight. They are camped further back - no press or pressure at all. Tactics - negative all the way
