Indeed blue, I loved the HF banner, and hope that every game, someone will run on the pitch with the journos facemask on and a tea towel on his head, sitting in the centre circle for 5 mins until getting carted off! I do find it funny though, everyone saying that we wouldn"t accept the same takeover and would be protesting, maybe some wouldn"t renew, but the majority would have red n blue teatowels on and looking forward to winning something! Lets not forget we sell arms to this regime, who kill innocents in Yemen with them, and 17 of the WTC killers were Saudi! Don"t blame the toon fans for buying in to it, blame the Fa/Epl, and the government, for trading with them and not putting them on a blacklist!

I suspect the PL want to stop the banners but how can they? Unless clubs agree to ban fans who show them. They are only offensive to those involved, tough s***
Interestingly Brighton fans want to borrow it but think Barber will issue a dictact not too, he is a PL puppet.

Blimey, I just did a scan of Brighton's NSC forum and they've got 20 pages of comments about the banner, 99% praising us and some saying they want to borrow it for when they play Toon. It took the Saudi's to make us all friends again

At the end of the day, IMHO this deal should never have gone through. I agree that some of the other deals that have been done by clubs over the years shouldn't have been allowed as well, but this for me takes it to a whole new level.

How anyone at the Premier League can look at the PIF and go "yep that's totally separate to the Saudi royal family, no way that money is drenched in blood" I just find beyond ridiculous, especially when the chairman of the PIF is the crown prince who's history speaks for itself. I think the banner is inflammatory, but in a good way as how else do we exhibit our distain and I don't disagree with it at all. Whilst the old bill have an obligation to follow up on a complaint, I'd be very surprised if anyone gets pulled up for it.

I don't know about anyone else, but personally if this deal had come to Palace then I'd walk away from the club as it would no longer be the Palace that I've supported for nearly 40 years. Yes all clubs need investment and we're all hoping for a sugar daddy to come in and splash the cash, but this kind of investment, where they are so untouchable that they don't care that we know where the money came from, would mean our club would be built on the effective slavery, exploitation and deaths of so many.

I don't think I could support that.
