I tell you what, this extremist right conspiracy controlling the world has to be just about the most useless and ineffective mob ever.

Is producing this progressive liberalized society some kind of 4D chess then?....Is it a devious ruse.....are they going to suddenly show their hands at some point....maybe all turn up in brown shirts during transvestite story hour at the local library and chant 'blood and soil' while he/she goes through their twerking routine....maybe read from the constitution while he/she applies make up.

I don't want to minimise (UK spelling) people's ethnic identities at all. You do, by trying to lump them all together in big groups called "black" and "white". People rightly treasure their ethnicity and all it brings with it but your skin colour is not the defining factor at all.

It's the use of skin colour as an adjective to define people I want to see fade away.

Talking about this with you is more like a first steps lesson in the kindergarten than the 5th form. Even pre-schoolers understand that children aren't defined by their skin colour but might come from different countries and have other cultures and religious festivals.

Posting with you is like punch and judy, if judy were a dishonest progressive.

The experience of answering you is that you don't engage in good faith with any of the arguments.

Your post here for example, is just going around in circles. Again, you just re-state my ideas how you wish to....You don't actually deal with any of my criticisms of your ideas, probably because you can't.

I came to understand this lack of flexibility and good faith a long time ago. It isn't about actual engagement with ideas it's about you and getting attention.....Still, what's most annoying is when you parrot back my own phrases back to me....Well no actually.... reading a guy slagging off his own parents on a public forum is probably worse....Then again, come to think of it there's something much worse than that.

And yes, sometimes I like to use American spellings....why is this something else you want to control now?

I just read someone suggesting that debating with you was like trying to argue with Katie Hopkins (in the transfer thread!!!!). No doubt you regard that as a compliment, but I don't.

So I had to smile when I read your latest attempt at a jibe. Especially when you so frequently misrepresent what other posters say, which is precisely why the other poster I mention gave up on you. I sometimes wonder if you actually understand what you are writing, or if they are just words for the sake of words. You are so like Trump. When challenged you don't attempt to deal with the criticism but immediately go into full-on misrepresentation and insult mode. I don't think you are even aware of this.

I am not "slagging off" my parents at all. My mother held her views when such attitudes were commonplace. I am certain that if she was alive today those views would have evolved, just as most have. She was fundamentally a kind and decent person who just happened to live in a different era.

The majority of us have moved on. We have learned and adjusted. Only those unable to progress continue to hold the same kind of views my mother did 50 years ago.

Interesting that you read that....the guy lied about what he posted and then called me Katie Hopkins...kind of a man after your own heart really.

I was a tad insulted.....I'm much better looking than Katie Hopkins.

As for your mother, It's nice that you finally said something non embarrassing about a parent on here ( if you are going to bring them up you should know better than to slag off parents to strangers). All I can say is that she came from a great generation that still had in-group preference...actually like most of the world still has now.

I regard your criticism of the time as typical of the vacuous individualistic nihilism you celebrate....which will, if continued destroy the great country hundreds of generations died building.

I'm fine with your criticisms as I oppose pretty much most of what you have written. You don't debate in good faith so disfigure whatever you want, only leftists agree with your stuff anyway, so who cares.

Still, you are wrong to say I'm like Trump....Trump, might be a political Alf Garnett figure but he probably doesn't believe half the same things I believe....He's like a Democrat from the early nineties....It's just that the left have feminised themselves so much that a Democrat from the nineties now looks like some kind of far right Hitler figure to them.

Oh you are very like Trump. Leave the politics aside as he doesn't really have any. My comparison is on the way you both respond to criticism.

Anyway, enough of this. This thread is supposed to be about the US election which is providing daily evidence, if we needed any more, of the complete unsuitability of Trump to be anywhere near the WH.

What an irresponsible asshole he is. He is attempting to stage manage his infection as if it is just another piece of Trump theatre, without any regard for others. Expect him to milk the moment when Marine 1 touches down on the WH lawn.

My wife's reaction, which I have heard from others too, when she first heard the news that he had tested positive was that it was fake, intended to divert attention away from his tax returns and the car crash debate failure.

That's not my own opinion but it is sad that his reputation for lying gives rise to even the suspicion that he might do something like that.

Now he wants to appear to be "Macho-man" the superhero the virus cannot keep down. Nevermind, who else he infects as he indulges his fantasies and massages his ego with his base.

Can you imagine Obama behaving like this? Can you imagine Obama getting infected, or allowing events to go ahead which could infect so many others? Or indeed Biden, although we don't yet have any direct comparisons to make. Sad.
