Todays first download is a set by Ocean Colour Scene that was recorded in Tokyo, Japan in March 1998. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds great. Boots by OCS in good quality are very, very rare - I only have a few myself and grabbed this one as soon as I saw it. Some classic tracks on this one "One Hundred Mile City", "Travellers Tune" and my favourite "Get Blown Away" - if you like OCS you will want this one - thorougly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Lloyd Cole & The Commotions that was recorded at Hammersmith Odeon, London in 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I've posted a few albums by LC in the past but not that many bootlegs - good quality ones are hard to find. I was lucky as when I found this one - I found another which will be posted tomorrow. Todays first download is a bootleg by The Beatles. This is Rarities 3 - The George Martin remixed American Rock N Roll Swindle Music Album. The quality is superb, really top notch sound and a great selection of tracks as well... a few cover versions of songs as well a selection of their own stuff. The trouble with Beatles boots is that they have all been packaged and repacked with different names and artwork it's hard to know if it's been posted before under another title... I don't have this in my files, but that doesnt mean I don't already have this under another name - and I've got too many to check. However, this is such a good selection I will keep it as it is.. this is great stuff - thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by Tower Of Power that was recorded in New York in May 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an Fm broadcast of the show. According to my files this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - in fact it's the first album of any sort.. I found that very surprising. Anyhoo, TOP have been around for over 44 years now and they are still going today. There have been many, many changes in the line up over the years, but they still tour. They play soul music with special emphasis on the bands Horn section and tight bass guitar work. This boot features the bands most famous lead vocalist Lenny Williams and includes the bands biggest hits " You're Still A Young Man" "So Very Hard To Go" and "Soul Vaccination". This is great stuff - thoroughly recommended...
