Has what is being proposed here happened / is due to happen at any other club in the UK? Didn't Man U do the opposite a year or two back - replaced their singing section behind the goal with disabled seating? That would be something like a decade after doing what Parish is proposing. Edit: it was 2017 & involved 2600 fans being moved. Edited by Nobbybm (07 Nov 2018 12.59pm)
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

I would argue our chairman has stood up and made a difficult shout he was obviously tempted to do nothing but has realised the majority wanted it to happen so put the wheels in motion. Perhaps he could of been more generous to the longer term E blockers in their compensation package.

Speaking to Football.London about the affection shown to him, Loftus-Cheek said: "It was a really good reception from the Palace fans and when I was there, it was great. "The fans were great and it is one of the best atmospheres I have played in front of, so to hear them sing my name was a warming feeling." Meaning they likely do prefer to play in front of singing fans, rather than quiet.

If players had a choice of playing in front of nobody or a full stadium with atmosphere, which do you think they'd choose? Edited by A89M (07 Nov 2018 4.19pm)

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Yep I get that. Exactly...which is why I am bored of this thread. I was interested in the views but as you have also noticed it gets lost in all the constant petty arguments. This is getting so common on this site now and very boring! I agree with your reply Midlands but I came on here to read comments and not get bogged down with such petty tit for tat rows. Some posters on here really do need to lighten up, not take things so personally and stick to the subject matter. Mods...maybe you could add a new topic menu bar titled petty arguments. I think it would very popular!
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

Perhaps one or all of them have decided they don’t go back until it’s definite or not at all and only return as the HF in the centre.
