Todays extra download is a set by Judas Priest that was recorded at the BBC Studios London in October '78. This is in superb quality and is an excellent but short set. This is an old show and there is a bit of tape hiss but it's not really noticable when the music is playing. The band were touring promoting the album "Stained Class". This is a good one..... Todays first download is a set by Robbie Williams that was recorded for the BBC Electric Proms at the Roundhouse, London in 2009. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by RW over the years on the mp3 thread - this is one of the best sounding of them all. I first posted this show on the 7th December 2009 and if you missed it then - grab it now... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by The Band that was recorded at various venues during 1983-1986. The first part of the boot is from locations around the World during 83-86. The second part is a show from The Lone Star Cafe, New York, February 8, 1986 (Late Show). Some great tracks on this one and a top setlist. This isnt one of the reposted shows - I've not posted this before. If you like The Band then you will want this one - thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Sharon Van Etten that was recorded in Chicago, Illinois on the 16th February 2012. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch - the show was broadcast on FM radio on the 28th October 2012. This is the first album or bootleg by this SVE that I've posted. I don't know much about her except that she's released 3 albums to date - the first in 2009. If you don't know SVE - give her a try - this is thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I've not posted many bootlegs by the Boomtown Rats - this is a good one with classics like "Like Clockwork" *She's So Modern" and "Rat Trap". I first posted this show on the 28th February 2008 and if you missed this then - grab it now... thoroughly recommended... Hi staffie, One of my obscure requests, but could you see if you can find an album by The Questions, and maybe a couple of earlier singles? Band: The Questions Album: Belief {from 1984} it was re-issued in 1996 as a cd. The re-issue would be great. Singles "Building on a Strong Foundation" / "Dream Come True" (1984) and "Price You Pay" / "The Groove Line" (1983) Don't bust a gut if you can't find them. And no rush. Many Thanks
