The amount of Politically Correct do gooders in this country is unbearable.
I suppose that's about par for the course from someone who feels like you do:- Quote SE9 EAGLE at 20 Jan 2014 5.11pm
Nothing else in any other sport compares to a goal either for or against. And the there is the singing, extreme language and punch ups!

Anyone in football would know that clubs have their own ways , chants and 'terms of endearment' that those outside of the game endeavour to find offensive . The fans of the hotspurs from Tottingham are no exception . The word yid is as offensive to Jews as the word ****** is to black people. As we have a number of black players and supporters at Palace would you think it's acceptable that we refer to ourselves as ******s then - as a term of endearment of course Unless you're a Yid or black (or both, a 'blid') you're not really in a position to know whether that's true or not. I have heard anecdotes from Spurs supporting friends of Jewish people that are not in the slightest bit offended by the term when used at their ground. It's about context. As much as the N word is used by some black people. Some of the comments in this thread get more and more unbelievable It's true though. People are offended on other peoples behalf
Were white people who campaigned against slavery "offended on other people's behalf"? Were men who fought for votes for women "offended on other people's behalf"? Were non-Jews who fought the Nazis "offended on other people's behalf"? Are adults who campaign against child abuse "offended on other people's behalf"? Please explain why, if someone perceives an action as wrong, why they cannot speak up against it, whoever they are? Edited by Seth (21 Jan 2014 5.34pm)

Edited by Seth (21 Jan 2014 5.34pm) The problem with you people is that slaves,Muslims, blacks, the disabled, women, gays, hermaphrodites and indeed all minorities(and that includes foreign rapists we cant deport because of their rights and terrorists)all have full civil rights and probably more rights than the rest of us.But you still need the idea of prejudice to soothe your misguided consciencies. And if loving my country and being concerned with untrammeled immigration and crime makes me right wing I make no apology for that.I am not a thug though....

What is wrong with the term Yid. It's a language spoken by certain people. Like Scottish, spoken by a Scot, Finnish, spoken by a Finn...etc. Who speaks yiddish?
Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers |

A spirited rant, but what's it got to do with what I asked? Well, Seth, you generously invited him to make a complete fool of himself and it appears that he has speedily accepted your invitation. Words fail me, but I think if you were looking for a cogent response, you may be waiting a while.

There may be just a little too much froth in his mouth to allow him to speak coherently.
