No. And no, I would be happy to never play them again. The last time was perfection. Same here. Happy to never play them again and never want them to enjoy even the remotest sniff of success. But, if they come up then it is on merit so respect to them for that.

I am old school, Millwall are our rivals, Brighton, could not care less, its a a false rivalry, suits them, because apart from us they have no so called rivalry, i personally think all the london clubs are our rivals before we look to the south coast, if they earn promotion, good luck to them I agree with some of the stuff you mention. I for one class Millwall as a close 2 second rivals. Defiantly our biggest London game. Love beating them. To me i hate them with a passion as much as Brighton. Always seen this match as the battle of south London. I also however do give a f about Brighton. Their arrogance is beyond unreal. The London clubs are our rivals i don't believe. I do believe a lot of mill give a s***, not all, but after them and the clowns, i cant think of any other London club or give a flying f. .

As much as i hate them and love to see them fail constantly , they are looking more certain to come up.. As much as i hate to say this fair play to them. Praying we stay up and get 6 easy points against them next season! Edited by Top_Don_Cpfc (12 Mar 2017 9.09am)

Almost no other London clubs give a toss about us, with the exception of Charlton who are desperate to have a rivalry with someone, anyone. Millwall couldn't care less about us; their rivalry is with West Ham. "Old school"? The Brighton rivalry goes back the best part of 50 years and has a traceable history. As I've already said, "false rivalries" are those manufactured by dint of geographical accidents. Not true at all. Every Millwall fan I know absolutely hates Palace with a passion and wishes nothing but the worst for us.

They have always felt like the 'Poor relations' to us. Indeed. My poor dad is one of them. After being conned into it by his uncle during the war. He took him along to watch his first game of football while his dad was away serving in Burma and made him promise to always support Millwall if he took him. My dad being a football mad kid went along with it. Poor old git has been cursed with this all his life. Luckily his three sons all saw the light and supported their local team

To be honest none of these Millwall supporters have expressed any antipathy towards Palace to me. They have a Croydon connection so maybe they have a 'Soft spot' for our team ! But never admit it !

Probably down to the guilt of them not supporting their local team Willo. Would be a prisonable offence if I ran the country

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |
