There's been no witness report to confirm what or wasn't said. The BBC report also used the word 'seems' which has, doubtless, given credibility to this particular spin. The fact remains that a bunch of c*nts attacked a defenceless bloke but it's a matter of conjecture that a bunch of c*nts attacked a defenceless bloke because he was an asylum seeker. It just suits the zeitgeist to infer the latter.

After reading through the first page I was thinking to myself ' where does it say they were white'? I know the Shrublands well. 15 years ago it was a predominately white, right wing, working class area. In the last 5-7 years it's demographic has changed considerably and has seen a big surge in ethnic minorities (nowt wrong with that) but this in turn has led to turning the estate into a bit of a volcano, just waiting to explode.
Doesn't often get reported though... Maybe it doesn't suit the 'press agenda?

Horrible but not unusual crime. Take t0ssers, add alcohol and this is going to happen from time to time. The type of victim is immaterial....except for those with agendas.
