We've seen so many suopposely decent teams in mid table turn up and give frankly shameful displays just because they couldn't be bothered and didn't need the points - Stoke, Watford last week, Everton today, and don't think West Brom on the last day will be any different. They played with no pride or self-respect. Sunderland despite finishing bottom gave it the works today, Pickford and Defoe showed what they could do and were determined to do the business regardless of the state of the table. Sunderland beating Hull was a huge result for us. I know Everton threw in the towel. Great credit to Sunderland for giving it their all. It could have been worse. If Hull had won they would have been on 37 points and beating us would have meant we would have had to beat Man U on the last day. Now they need to win both their last games to go above us.
