Many years ago on a business trip to Asia I was served a sweet dish called 'Gulab Jamun' and another which I think was called 'Halwa' - never took to either.Also served 'Ras Malai' and absolutely loved it.

Now in a hotel in Muscat, Oman....just eaten mahalabia which is an arabic milk pudding dish with spices....very very nice it was too....reckon I can remember the name MAHALABIA for some strange reason!!
