I agree it's weird. We are not being told all the truth. Why would you get the army envolved to over 50 sitings of drones that the police haven't even seen. Come on now!!

Imagine how the conversation went to the army general.
"Yes dorris over in duty free saw a light over the runway "

To then say actually we saw nothing

There's been a new drone sighting and Gatwick is now closed again. The police want to speak to a large fat man in a red suit.He is also wanted for offences relating to importing live stock from abroad without the necessary license. One of these animals is clearly infected as he appears to have a bright red nose.

Perhaps we are being misled because this is part of a terrorist plot.
One time can be dismissed as mischief but several occurrences and it becomes more serious.

I was suspicious when a well known prankster claimed responsibility. That is typical of a smokescreen.
