If I was manager, which thankfully for you all I’m not, I’d play 451 and sit deep.
Haaland, assuming he plays, thrives in space left behind for him to use his pace and power.
He’s less assured with little space to operate in.
City like to dominate the ball which is why I’m suggesting 5 in midfield.
It’s really a team designed for damage limitation and try to avoid hurting our goal difference.
Normally I wouldn’t advocate being as defensive, but it’s possible none of our players would even get into their squad, let alone their team, such is the gulf in quality.
That is the level of inequality beteeen City and most teams in the Premier League.
If we do achieve a narrow victory feel free to come on here and pour scorn on me.
