Just read the text on the definition of a case and what a Covid admission is now. Any patient admitted into the trust who’s tested positive in the last 14 days. They test everyone in the NHS now btw so when you’re in for a broken arm, if you test positive, you’re an admission.’ This is why when I see the tv news hyping up a few people in ICU and nurses having a chinwag by the dept reception desk, I’m not taken in by the fear driven propaganda. Confirmed Covid in beds by % of total numbers. Doesn’t look like it’s the reported ‘admissions’ number, even without the discharge numbers, which are happening pretty quickly. Hearing 5 days. Weakening of virus and/or younger age groups in Covid wards?
