Todays second download is a set by America which was recorded in Alabama in 2009. This is in superb quality and is a great set. This is the second boot by this band I've posted recently - and this is another good one. Some classic tracks by the band on this one - Ventura Highway, Sandman and of course, their most famous track Horse With No Name... this is thoroughly recommended....... Todays extra download is a set by early Kraftwerk which was recorded in Bremen, Germany in 1971. This is in pin drop perfect sound quality - a fantastic pre-fm soundboard recording. This is Kraftwerk as you've never heard them as in the line up are Michael Rother and Klaus Dinger of the band NEU! and the whole performance is a series of extended jams - with Rothers guitar driving most of them. If you like Kraftwerk you must have this one - it's unique... and according to the notes, although 35 years old has only just appeared as a privately issued bootleg cdr - maybe recently discovered in the Radio Bremen archives... the inside cover sleeve notes in the artwork explain more thoroughly.... Todays first download is a set by The Rolling Stones which was recorded in New Orleans in 1994. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by Mick and the band. Some real classics on this one - a excellent boot and a great addition to anyones Rolling Stones collection.... odays second download is a set by the late Ronnie James Dio which was recorded live in Antwerp in 2000. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by a great rock n roll front man.. RJD is joined onstage for the last 3 tracks by Bruce Dickinson & Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden. I only ever saw Dio live once - when he was fronting a band called ELF who were supporting Deep Purple at the Kilburn Gaumont - that was a great gig.... talk about loud!! - some classic rock on this boot which is thoroughly recommended....
