Above, the FLA line ...Below the reality...

"An estimated 60,000 nationalists marched in Warsaw to celebrate Poland's 99 years of independence on Saturday.

While many simply waved Polish flags, some demonstrators threw red smoke bombs and carried signs with slogans like, "Europe must be white," "white Europe of brotherly nations," and "pray for an Islamic Holocaust." They shouted chants including, "glory to our heroes," "pure Poland, white Poland, "refugees get out," and "death to enemies of the homeland."

Among the marchers were supporters of Poland's governing party, Law and Justice (PiS). Interior Minister Mariusz Blaszczak downplayed the racist elements in comments praising the "beautiful sight" of Poles celebrating independence."

What a charmer he is.

I'll take that over people who are trying to murder us and our children and those who are apologists for them.
Trouble is the that governments policy is to just carry on with the policy that got us here in the first place and do very little about the results.
These outbursts of right wing anger are a direct result of this failure to protect the population.

And there lies the problem with some on the left.

They fail to realise that communism cannot be done properly. Communism is government by the people for the people and in reality that will never happen. A hierarchy always develops by consent or by force. That is reality. Communism, fascism or any other form of government is exactly the same in that respect.

Communism and what we call socialism both have the same approach to things. That is, that the state knows better than the people it governs; that a nation cannot flourish and prosper unless they lead their lives as directed by a little group of people in power. This is the central idea of the left - nothing is well managed unless the government manages it. The people can not be trusted to decide anything unless the government supplies the answer. Anyone else's decisions or management is contemptuously dismissed as chaos. Yet the state is nothing but a few fallible people in Whitehall making guesses about the future, influenced by political pressures and prejudices. Their 'planning' is likely to be wrong and out of date. In the real world it is the mass of people and businesses who are quick and accurate - producers listening to consumers, savers and investors picking the best bets, their everyday activities driving market forces where survival of the fittest ensures the best prices and quality.

Yet consistently the 'happiest' countries in the world - the top 10 - nearly all of them have strong state intervention from cradle to grave and have very much taken on board a helluvalot of socialist principles.

Consistently, every full-blown socialist/communist state has had to erect walls and barbed-wire borders to stop their citizens fleeing those countries.

Vietnam hasn't, has it? And I see plenty of Chinese visitors over here. Millions of Brits went on hol via Yugotours in the 70's and 80's too to a communist hell. Some even returned frequently. Must have been horrible.

Precisely.Your actual experience with "Muslims" is that they, shock horror, are basically just like the rest of us and not set on making the whole world just like them and not in need of "reform"..

You demonise a whole group based on the extreme ideology of a few "members",just like IRA,Mau Mau,Christians in Bosnia etc.

Countering sulafist jijadism has much in common with plain old counter insurgency strategies. The one lesson to learn from history about that is you are on a loser demonising the mass...its an easy knee jerk but gets no one anywhere.

Anyway,so much for FLA protestations that it is not islamophobe. It isn't.... in much the same way that camels like the arctic.

What do I think of taqiyah? Well,I see how it is interpreted (like things so many religions) to mean different things to different people at different times, and not so different to similar justifications promoted at different times in the past by christians, jews and buddhists.

Jackpot!!!! I new you would go there and you have so me and the FLA are islamaphobes haha gold dust you are exactly what i thought you was,
Now how exactly have you got to this conclusion i have stated many times i have no problem with moderate muslims i always engage with them and enquire about their religion ive even visited a mosque the Ahmadiyya one i mentoined ealier and my views that certain verses in koran that needs reforming or clarifying is one that is infact shared with the Egyptian president and some respected imans does that make them islamaphobic?
Its people like you who are one of the bigger problem who refuse to admit there is a problem and a link to islam that terroism will carry on and thrive and how dare you say i am demonising all muslims! Its actualy people like you.

Here's a picture for Nick gusset, it captures the moment someone from stand up to rascism hands out a leaflet on the last FLA march.
