If someone headhunted you for a position at their company and it was on 8 times what you were currently earning but you knew that everyone else there was earning double that for the same job, you’d have every right to negotiate a far larger wage, especially if they’d broken a record to get you there showing how much they value what you do.

The radio or pundits claiming we didn’t need to sell conveniently leave out vital details like finances for their 3 minute comments, just as managers generally aren’t interested. The fans and owners are around for longer. Well most of us are.

Then you should be really happy if we get relegated, because we will almost certainly win more games in the Championship. Alternatively you could go and support a team who are bankrolled by a country with limitless oil resources. Escapism is all very well if it isn't your money. We are not one of the top 6 mega rich clubs, this is not a game of FIFA 19 or fantasy football. Your posts show you are already enjoying your escapism, completely disconnected from reality.
