Todays first download is a set by U2 that was recorded in Montreal, Canada on the 9th July 2011. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been takern from an FM broadcast and sounds top notch. I've not posted many bootlegs by U2 over the years - not because they are hard to find - but because I really can't stand Bono - and The Edge cant play to save his life... Todays second download is a set by the late Ronnie James Dio that was recorded in Santiago, Chile on the 21st November 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. RJD appearred with a few bands in his career - I first saw him when he was lead singer with ELF in the early 70's at a gig where they were supporting Deep Purple in Kilburn... and they were loud... really loud - the loudest band I've ever heard... when I left the show, my ears were ringing and I couldnt hear anything being said to me... ah, the good ole days!.... Dio was always a rocker and his rough voice was perfect for this genre of music.... this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays extra download is a set by Rough Cutt that was recorded in New Orleans, LA in October 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. According to my files, this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. Rough Cutt are a band from Los Angeles, California who formed in 1982 and despite several changes of members over the years are still going today - as Rough Cutt mk5... The band members who have left the band have gone on to appear and perform with other successful bands - which Rough Cutt never got the recognition they deserved... If you don't know this band, try them - they rock!.... Todays first download is a set by Simon & Garfunkel that was recorded in Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 21st May 1970. For a bootleg thats over 40 years old the quality of this show is superb. The audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds absoltely crystal. Ive posted a whole stack of albums and boots by S&G over the years and this show was originally posted on the 10th June 2008. If you missed it then - grab it now - this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a load of Garbage - literally. This is Garbage live at the Bootleg Theatre, Los Angeles on the 6th April 2012. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted much by Garbage - only a couple of boots and a studio released album. This is a good set - which if you like Garbage, is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra downlaod is a set by UFO that was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London on the 10th January 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast on the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour Radio Show and sounds top notch. I've not posted many boots by UFO over the years - only 3 according to my files - this is a good one and if you like UFO - this is thoroughly recommended....
