We have one busker outside our office who knows three songs:

Wonderwall
Don't Look Back In Anger

Three songs I didn't even like in the 1900s when they were first popularised. I bet even Oasis don't still remember Wonderwall these days.

He plays those same three songs over and over again which is probably tolerable for people briefly passing. For people in an office next to it, it gets so boring.

I watched him for an hour the other day on a somewhat slow lunch break though and he only got 20p. He had a can of lager and I mused to myself that if you offset his earnings against his lager it had cost him money to busk.

The on-board busking on the D&C lines is taking the piss. And with the newish trains you get to hear them repeat the crap a few seconds later, but only a few decibels lower, as they move down the carriages.

People who sit there.. on their arse while you chase about from arseholes to breakfast time doing a hundred things. Seemingly oblivious and not the slightest bit embarrassed into rolling their sleeves up and helping you
