Reading back through today's posts, I see that despite explaining the purpose of this thread, and politely requesting those who disagree with it's existence to pass it by for the benefit of those who want to read it, the posts have descended in personal insults and yet more carping, so FINAL WARNING the next (and any subsequent) posts that do not directly refer to transfer news and updates will earn any and all posters a yellow card. (and please don't start with the 'he said so I said, but, but,but excuses as they are included in the above...)

Ok so I hate the word gossip when it relates to transfers but I do think this is quite interesting... So just got off the phone to my old man who works as a referee assessor for the FA. Today he was at Chelseas training ground in Cobham assessing the ref in a Chelsea U23s game. He was sitting in the small stand they have at the main pitch there and a light skinned black lad (my old man said probably late teens/early 20s) sitting a few rows I front. As the players were warming up one of the them came over and said to this lad 'Are you going to Palace then'... This lad said Yes.. He was then asked when does he go and he replied 'tomorrow'.. Now my Dad is useless with names but from the description I'm thinking it could possibly be Colwill??.. I guess we will see!!

That’s is interesting.. description sounds like it could be colwill. Maybe we are going for squad depth this year! We’ll be well stocked in CB. Guess possibly CHO, which seems unlikely and I’m hoping your dads age perception is rubbish and it’s actually RLC lol
