Todays extra download is a set by Meat Puppets that was recorded in Waterloo, Iowa on the 12th July 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. When I checked my files, I was surprised to see that this is the first album or bootleg by MP that I've posted - I checked my back ups - and still couldnt find anything by them. This band rock though and if you like Meat Puppets - then grab this one.... Todays first download is a set by the Arctic Monkeys that was recorded at the Hurricane Festival, Germany on the 22nd June 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a lots of AM boots and albums over the years - this is another top show for the collection. If you like the Arctics - then grab this one.... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Kansas that was recorded in Pittsburgh, PA on the 17th August 2013. This is one of the few audience recorded bootlegs that I post. I normally don't touch audience boots as they usually sound like the taper was in the back row with the mike in his pocket. This one sounds great - you do get a little audience noise but it adds to the feel of the show - and this is one great show. The band were playing for the fans this night and it was the 40th anniversary fan appreciation night. The band also had the Three Rivers Orchestra onstage with them for the first set conducted by Larry Baird. If you like Kansas, I thoroughly recommend this one - even though it's audience recorded this is still great stuff..... Todays extra download is a set by The Birthday Party that was recorded in Sydney, Australia on the 1st June 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by TBP that I've posted - but not the last as I have another show lined up for a few days time... If you like The Birthday Party, you will definitely like this one.... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Prefab Sprout that was recorded at Reading University on the 16th November 1985. This show was recorded for radio and the quality of this show is superb - the audio has been taken from a transcription disc - pre-fm broadcast. The show was aired on January 11, 1986. I've not posted many Prefab Sprout boots - good ones are hard to find and I dont have many myself. This is a good one and if you like PS - then this is thoroughly recommended.....
