Either way I think this is a good signing. Remember Wickham was playing in a consistently sh*t Sunderland side, and kept them up almost single-handed a couple of seasons ago.

I hope we keep Murray and let Wickham and Bamford learn from him. His experience will be invaluable to a young, hungry striker and with the forwards we now have I'm confident we'll score lots of goals this season.

Get a decent CB partner for Dann and we've had a very good window indeed

In the current market, a reported £9m inc add ons for a 22 year old English striker with Prem experience sounds like a very good deal.
A few seasons ago he was the hot prospect in English football and the fact that he has marked time at Sunderland is surely much more down to them than the player himself.
This looks like a typical Palace signing, a young player with promise and potential who's career has stalled a bit and who has something to prove.
It all looks good and positive to me.

Plus he has 2-3 years experience in the PL to build upon, great deal!

Good signing, young, English and Premier experience. Parrish will have got a good deal no doubt,nowhere near £9m nearer £6m + add ons. If he has a good season his value will soar with the new TV money in 2016-2017.
