If the story about a broken femur and jaw injuries are correct then he will be out for a season at least. At this stage all we can do is wish him the best and hope he recovers - as for football I guess the club will be in the market for a new fullback in the January transfer window. No need to make jokes about song lyrics at this stage. It's too early.

Hope Souare isn't too badly injured that it ruins his career. Real shame, because I do like him as a player and, more importantly, he strikes me as a nice chap. Get well soon!

Thankful that it is just a broken leg given what was undeniably a serious car accident. Too soon to suggest Premiership footballers and their highly-salarised toys? It would be interesting to gauge who was at fault within the accident and whether blame( if any) should be appointed to a particular driver. From what I've read and seen, it was Soure's vehicle that crossed central reservation therefore putting innocent lives at risk upon other section.

Think it's safe to say none of us expected to lose our only proper LB in that kind of unlucky fashion ! Don't suppose we could make an emergency loan as a result of this unfortunate incident ? Get well soon Papé !
