just out of interest, does anybody know how far pape is to returning? as i would see us signing schlupp & PVA if hes only a few months away as an awful waste of £20m

Souare needed upgrading before he was injured, a good player but as with a lot of positions we need better. Though it would be interesting to see how he plays as a LWB Schlupp might be played as an out and out winger?

Just been reading on Sunderland forum about him and not only can they not wait to see the back of him the deluded fools think he's worth £15 million also doing what Leicester fans did with schlupp laughing their asses off at us ....nice

The good thing is that Sam has worked with him recently and will be fully aware of his strengths and weaknesses. If he didn't rate him we wouldn't be in for him.
