Other managers refer to him as Big Sam. Fat is over the top but saying we have to call him a certain name or write certain initials is over the top and pathetic IMO. Have always called him big Sam (no fat) and will continue to do so

As a Palace fan living in Lancashire amongst loads of Bolton fans he has always been known as Big Fat Sam by them , I am just carrying on the tradition now he is with us. It is only a name people why get so animated about it !
