Punch had his best game for some time, he actually had a couple of shots in the first half. Having said that still not happy that he is prone to giving the ball away and bottles challenges. Having Luka helped the situation no end.

Point at west brom and beat Watford and we will be flying.

Puncheon although not in sparkling form of late certainly showed what is expected of a captain on the field of play and what we have been missing in terms 'talking, pointing, leading, encouraging and motivating the team on the park'. He talked to the ref and certainly relished the opportunity and I thought he played better with the additional responsibilities placed on his shoulders. I don't think Jimmy Mac has the engine to last a whole game and is much more effective interchanging with Cabaye.
