Perhaps that's why Pardew lasted so long. Of course everybody wants success but sometimes you have to call it, especially when it's so obvious that it isn't working.

And yes I'd love a big slice of humble pie, but I doubt I'm going to get it.

I was there, as I was for the couple of games we conceeded 5 against them over the following seasons...fortunately i'm not going this time.

I think we'll lose but I expect a better performance from the team than last week.

Even if Big Sam had been in charge it'd be a tough ask to get another win...which is the context in which i'll be watching this game..it'd be nice if others were simply as realistic regarding their expectations....but that's when my realism goes out the window...
