I predict that Zaha won’t play and I’d be surprised if he even travels.

Hope it's not an omen that we're on at the same time as Pointless on the BBC.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

This of course could change this afternoon. If Burnley win and our performance is dire then I suspect the "Dyche In" and "Hodgson out" debate will rage.

I never like these games against teams that are on a poor run. Burnley will probably pick up a win sooner than later - hopefully not this evening. On a positive note we have a very good record against clubs in the bottom half of the table during the last couple of seasons. A win will give us 16 points and open up a large gap to the bottom three. I know things can change but the way things are going 34/35 points may be enough to stay up this season. 1-2 to Palace

A defeat and I shall me as miserable as sin, tetchy and in all probability exceedingly splenetic.

Is this pure speculation? Nothing in the media about us having any new COVID cases. I guess if he was out then Batshuayi comes in alongside Ayew, which isn't too shabby really, albeit Zaha has been on form for most of the season so far. I don't imagine we'll see Eze with him being possibly ready for Friday. Shame as I imagine we'll see more of the ball than normal tonight and that isn't really Schlupp's strong point. Cahill, Ward, Tomkins and Mitchell all back in training so it'll be interesting to see if Roy keeps the same back four.

I'm going for 2-1 Palace. A hard fought win with lots of finger nail biting towards the end. I would like Roy to start Dann and Cahill and push Kouyate back into midfield alongside Riedewald. This would really help defend set pieces and their direct style of play.

It's going to be a question of who's defence makes the most mistakes, is Sakho available?

This is a game which in theory, we have a good chance of winning, we have good away form, have developed a more attacking style. Bats is now more used to how Palace play and shouldn't get called offside so much. Zaha is in excellent form, and we have Ward, Cahill and Mitchell coming back from injury. So I am going to risk the banana skins and predict - a 0-1 away win for Palace
