My understanding is it's someone who has had recent experience of playing in England. I don't intend to reveal the name given to me because if it's not in the public media domain, it's best to keep it that way. Whether he comes or not remains to be seen.

New strategy is to identify one but negotiate with three to help drive the price down - it's a buyer's market currently.

Plenty of time till the window closes of course but the I can't remember such a quiet transfer window generally. The well-organised clubs have typically done most of their business decently before season start - leaving us to hoover up the scraps on deadline day

I guess it's a prudent approach. We seem far more proactive this transfer window, than many recent previous seasons.
