Merson was saying when we played Luton that it was game over after we scored as we were all over them. We all know how that ended up!

I'm not so sure about that. Its perm any 2 from 4 after Burnley's win today. They will be hoping they can pick up more points before they face forest on the last day.

Its Everton v Forest tomorrow. That's a real squeeky bum game.

Before they play Forest they have the small matter of:
- Man U A
- Newcastle H
- Spurs A
Do you really expect them to win enough points to even get close to us?

As for Luton, today's game will have done nothing for their confidence.

Thing is those three teams really blow hot and cold. I honestly would not be able to predict them. We all thought we would get thrashed at anfield...look what happened there.

One-off results are always possible but all 3 of those teams have something to fight for and Burnley will do well to beat even one of them.

Read it again. I never said they could catch us. I said perm any 2 from 4 in answer to someone that said Luton were down. i.e Burnley, Forest, Everton, Luton.

We’ll do a job on West Ham and it will all be fine.

My teenage boys are taking their mates and using my season tickets. I love it. Next generation.

I did after I'd posted and realized you weren't including us in the 4. So, sorry.

regarding the OP, i reckon this year will set a new record for the lowest number of points required.

Between 2 clubs getting points-deductions and other teams being shyte.....

Forest will probably survive with something paltry like 27 or 28

Mathematically we are not safe yet, but after the last 2 results no one in there right mind would even think we have a slim chance of getting relegated, I have enjoyed reading the posts and look forward to glasner having a full season and hopefully we will have some exciting times ahead.

I think doing some quick maths that to be mathematically safe we need Luton to lose or draw any of their remaining games, or we win one, or we draw one and assume that our goal difference stays better than Luton's (and we have a game in hand over Luton) but I think we can all stop looking over our shoulders now!

The trouble with computers, of course, is that they're very sophisticated idiots
