Watched Macca at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday with Lee Evans, who was in our hospitality suite. Nice guy and very funny.

ok, setting myself up for a shedload of abuse I know, but had lunch with President Blair today and got to talk to him for almost an hour. Conclusions.... 1) he is impressive, smooth and looks you in the eye 2) apart from being slightly smaller than I expected, he comes across pretty much like on the tv 3) Cheri actually comes across much better in real life (not a difficult task to be fair though) I wasnt seduced, but, in terms of what he was there for (i.e. to promote british business in Kosovo) he did a brilliant job and have to say I enjoyed the lunch (good beef!)

Pristina is only a 2 hour drive from Skopje. I got an invite through my work - at the moment I am advisor to the Customs Director in Macedonia - and I think they wanted people who would know how to hold a fish knife (not in a 'staffie' sense though)! I was tempted to ask him about the Toon's prospects for the new season but decided not to show him up!!

the mrs was in regents part today and james corden walked past, her comment was " strutting past looking at everyone hoping someone would recognise him " she ignored him as did everyone else, nice one !
