Todays first download is a set by Elvis Costello & The Attractions that was recorded in Seattle, Washington on the 10th February 1978. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted other shows from this tour in the past - but nothing recently. This is a top set with great versions of the classics " (I Don't Want To Go To) Chelsea" "Pump It Up" and "Watching The Detectives". This is great stuff and if you like Elvis C this is thoroughly recommended.. and then some.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at The Paramount Northwest Theatre, Seattle. Todays second download is a set by Dire Straits that was recorded at the Rockpalast, Cologne, Germany on the 16th February 1979. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This show has been posted before but this version is better sound quality and has 3 extra tracks from the previous version. Two versions of the bands first hit single "Sultans Of Swing" on this one. If you like DS then grab this show... this is the mutts... great stuff and thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by The Byrds that was recorded at the Loyola College, Baltimore, MD on the 15th April 1970. This is in superb quality for a boot thats nearly 45 years old and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by The Byrds over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. Some great tracks on this one inlcuding "Mr Tambourine Man" "Wheels On Fire" and "Eight Miles High". This is a wicked show and if you like The Byrds this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Depeche Mode that was recorded at Croc's Night Club, Rayleigh, Essex on the 27th June 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. This is the earliest bootleg by Depeche Mode that I've ever seen - not by much, only a few months... but still the earliest. Todays second download is a set by Marillion that was recorded at Billy's Old Mill, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the 25th September 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a Pre FM broadcast of the show and it sounds absolutely wicked. I've not posted that many boots by Marillion over the years as good quality shows are rare. This is one of the best I've ever heard and if you like Marillion you will definitely want this one... this is thoroughly recommended... and then some! Todays extra download is a short set by My Morning Jacket that was recorded at the Bridge School Benefit Festival, Mountain View, CA on the 26th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. The band play a cover version of Neil Young's song "Harvest Moon" and are joined onstage by Neil Young himself. I've posted a few albums and boots my MMJ over the years but nothing recently.
