Certainly not, that's just you trying to use dramatic words for something quite simple and undramatic. The UK is negotiating with 27 other sovereign countries, it will always be disadvantaged by that as would any other country. It's a choice just over half those who voted in June last year have chosen. It's a choice of a disadvantaged and weaker economy compared to staying in the largest trading block in the world that has one of the biggest trading deals with the rest of the world.

This is true, but it doesn't stop them and those inspired by them to take advantage of the gullible and naive facilitators of multi-culturalism - like elderly foster home providers who provide havens for bomb makers.

Colin Firth now has Italian citizenship. Strange how he hadn't felt the need in the previous 19 years of being married to an Italian. Make of it what you will.

Pretty much nothing then.

I don't agree with allowing dual citizenship personally....He could always become full Italian personally and feck off there.

It is all a bit car crash watching the Tories strength and stability see us through these turbulent times.

Oh dear indeed. What sort of checks are made before these supposed refugees are farmed out to the kindly and gullible? Mind you, what checks are made before they are let into the country in the first place?

Surely all you EU patriots must think staying in for two years is a wonderful thing? Why are you critics of it? You keep telling us that being in the EU is an unmitigated blessing and that all wealth and well being flows from being part of this marvellous organisation. So how come you are not saying what a wise and statesman like move this is?

No get it right Hedge....You see they are the real patriots. By putting the EU first and always criticising the British position they are the real patriots.

You see it's the EU who hold all the right answers for the British people.....not a majority vote by the British people....but it's the EU commission you see.

Get it right Hedge!

Next you'll be saying that the EU was wrong for Greece!

We should not stay in for a further two years. We should leave with no deal if necessary. Boris Johnson no doubt thinks the same. May is heading for the chop if she pursues this course.

'criticising the British position'.

There is no 'British position' to criticise.

The EU cannot decipher the 'British position' and who could.

The euro vote of 51/49 just shows a divided country.

Failing to realise this and the recent election result is just inflicting pain on the UK.

It is a Frenchman Mr.Barnier who is deciding the UK's future not the UK itself.

He is keeping control well but hey anything can happen.

Still got 20 billions and plenty more to come and like other EU leaders did not bother to go to Florence at all.

Not a bad result for the EU.

But they are genuine in not wanting us to leave.

This is more to do with xenophobia than sovereignty IF all sides were being honest.

Was that why you supported Scottish independence then?

Xenophobia would be banning immigration and no one is suggesting that.

Calm down. You'll get a hernia.

Twas merely a fairly accurate observation. Only the myopic wouldn't see what disarray the Tories are in. Europe has always been their downfall.
You never know, we might end up with a labour Brexit. That'd cheer me up a bit.
