Todays first downloadis a set by Marillion that was recorded at the Pinkpop Festival, Geleen, Netherlands on the 11th June 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files I've not posted any Marillion for a long time - the last boot/album I posted was back in 2011 - so it's about time for another. This is only a short set of 8 songs but they're good ones and it's a good set which the audience like - so if you like Marillion then grab this show... this rocks... Todays second download is a set by Shakatak that was recorded at the Do#Dj International Jazz Festival, Kiev, Ukraine on the 26th March 2008. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a DVD audio rip and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by Shakatak that I've posted - but not the first album as I've posted 3 studio released ones in the past. This is great set with a few tracks with the band just jamming - if you like a bit of smooth jazz then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - they are called the Mark-Almond band and they were formed in the late 1960's by Jon Mark and Johnny Almond. They play a sort of jazz-rock which is excellent and this show is a great example of it. The audio on this boot is superb and has been taken from a speed corrected vinyl disc played on FM radio. I don't know anything about this band - I've had a quick listen and they are wicked... so give them a try.. they (jazz) rock!... Todays first download is a bootleg by E.L.O that was recorded while the band were touring in support of their album Zoom in 2001. This has been taken from two televised shows and the sound is fantastic. Bootlegs by ELO in good quality are rarer than rocking horse crap and this is a good one. Some real classic tracks on this one including "Evil Woman" "10538 Overture" "Turn To Stone" and the classic "Mr Blue Sky" are all played. This tour was cancelled after just a few shows and nothing official was ever released from this tour. If you like ELO with Jeff Lynne then grab this one - this rocks and is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by the late Ronnie James Dio that was recorded at the House Of Blues in Hollywood, CA on the 29th March 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of bootlegs by Dio in the past and I posted one quite recently. If you like Dio then I thoroughly suggest you download this one as well.. it sounds great, and it is great... Todays extra download is a set by Triumph that was recorded at the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando Florida in 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show on the "Westwood One Radio Show" and it sounds top notch. I've only posted one other bootleg by Triumph over the years - so it's about time for this one.. If you like Triumph, then this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a boolteg by The Beatles that consists of BBC recordings. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the studio master tapes and from the soundboard and they sound top notch. I've almost certainly posted these tracks on other bootlegs before - the trouble with Beatles stuff is that it's been bundled together so many times - as well of often being wrongly titled, it makes it hard to know whats what. This is a good boot for any fans of the Beatles as it has a lot of songs bundled here - 59 to be exact and all in the one file. Definitely one for any fans of the fab four.... go for it!.... Todays second download is a set by Iron Maiden that was recorded in Porto Alegre on the 5th March 2008. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a DVD audio rip of the show and it sounds fantastic - really top quality sound. I've posted shed loads of IM boots and albums over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. This is a cracking set with the usual Iron Maiden selection of tracks... great stuff for IM fans - thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Kingdom Come that was recorded in Basel, Switzerland 1993. There is no info as to where and when in the file. The quality of this boot is superb though and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've only posted one previous bootleg by Kingdom Come - and no studio released albums. This band rock big time and if you've downloaded the previous bootleg then grab this one as well... this is a wicked set which ends with a cover of the AC/DC hit "Highway To Hell"... this is thoroughly recommeded... Todays first download is a set by Asia that was recorded in Tokyo, Japan in 2007 - the exact date or venue isn't listed. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is a wicked set by the band with some classic tracks from the bands they have been associated with over the years. Some Yes, King Crimson and Emerson, Lake and Palmer tracks are all performed and they sound wicked. I've posted a lot of shows by Asia over the years - this is another top show for the collection.
