People concerned about the fee have to realise the new tv deal has been a game changer. Unfortunately it has meant player's wages will go up as will transfer fees. What should have happened is an agreement by prem clubs to invest it back in grass roots. But don't get me started on that. So, where the fee sounds ridiculous in the grand scheme of things it is relative to the huge amounts of cash swimming in the league. Edited by laddo (10 Jul 2016 8.29am)

Well good news for anyone who follows the football whispers transfer site he's gone from 1.5 which is freezing cold to 3.1 (medium) his highest was 4.8 with 5.0 being highest so it seems something may be happening

Can't see us signing him this week as palace are flying to American on there pre season tour so i can't see it happening now until they get back which won't be until at least Monday or Tuesday at the earliest

Am I the only who isn't thrilled with Benteke. I think there a much better options available. For example Slimani or Ben Yedder. £31 million is too much.
