The problem lies with the mods not the BBS membership. Out of hundreds of members there are probably no more than 20 who ruin it and are actively encouraged by the mods who effectively ban anyone who stand up to them. A real shame since it represents CPFC. I heard recently that the legendary "Trolley" is nowhere to be seen on the BBS and hasn't been posting for quite a while. Perhaps he stood up to the Mods and found himself banned.

If a fight was organised between Hols and the BBS this site would win hands down. Whilst i enjoy both sites far more Nigels on the BBS and one or two posters on there have got to be computer generated for the amount of posts they have. I often think the Nigel tag originated from Millwall fans that read the bbs. It's a term used against us by most football fans now. Not that I care. We have all shapes and sizes as palace fans. And I can admit we have our fair share of square fans. And regarding the computer generated members, that's exactly what I was talking about. A few posters have over 100,000 posts. I'm convinced these are not real people.
I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that. |

This Hol v BBS thing is interesting. I've been a member of both for over 10 years but have very rarely posted on the BBS. I don't like the way the site looks compared to this site and from my experience people are more friendly on here (well to me anyway, except for a few awkward/aggressive people over the years). I also find the Hol site easier to navigate. If there was no Hol I guess I would use BBS and get used to it, but right now this site suits me fine.

It would appear that the legendary "Trolley" has not been on there for a while - perhaps he had been subjected to vile comments or maybe he was banned.Long live HOL i say !
