If we have 2 players that can do a job at the back but also get us up the pitch at the same time then that's great. Relying on Wilf to get us up the field since Bolasie left has made us very 1 dimensional again. If we are going to use wingbacks a bit more then we can leave our CB's to defend a bit more but have the pace to cover when needed, that's one thing Souare brought to us that no-one else in our back line can do.

I asked another mackem friend of mine about PVA and he said pretty much what you have. Better attacking than defending. I'm not totally unhappy with that as that seems to be the way with modern full backs. The days of Emlyn Hughes and Stuart Pearce are long gone.
