I don't know whether all video feeds are the same, but at halftime the U.S. studio crew confirmed that the ball that struck Zaha was kicked at him by Schelotto. They also confirmed that Wilf spat on the ground, rather than at the crowd or Schelotto. On the live (U.S.) feed, it was unclear where the phantom ball had come from, and it seemed possible that Zaha had been spitting more or less at the fans or Schelotto.
