He is never in a good position, isn't in place when the rest of the team is pressing forward (as just shown with Reidawald.) He has the killer instinct of my pet cat who's fat and has lost any motivation to chase anything. Far too early to claim Mateta as the messiah. He's looked clumsy and cumbersome when I've seen him, fancy backheel goal aside. Benteke has his faults...but for me he's the best all round striker at the moment. Seems Hodgson would agree...or do you know better than him too?
