Strange, disappointing game. We were the better side, but our defending was unfocused and often lazy. After a run of good games under PV, Ward looked old and slow, and Kouyate looked passive and unsure of himself. At least Olise was sharp again, except when he held his head in shock (after a late chance) instead of retreating to defend. Still can't fathom why PV removed Gallagher and left Luka on, nor why our set-piece defending is so porous. Can we award Guaita MOTM despite 3 goals?

A highly entertaining game and one of our worst performances of the season in my opinion. Very questionable defending and set pieces are such an area of weakness for us. Still, the unbeaten streak continues to seven.

Why is it CP that whether you are on the politics or this chat you are always itching for a reaction. Benteke did ok, lucky deflection for first goal but got his shot away quickly, then missed a sitter, 2nd goal was a cool finish. He is a centre forward and should finish chances like those. What do you want people to say, “he was awesome”? Because he wasn’t, he was ok.

Happy with a point today. If you keep picking points up away from home you will normally have a decent season. We have lost only 2 games so far.
