When fans say he's the worst in the premier last season, really that at least 3 or 4 worse than him. Jukaponivic, Gomes,brad Guzan and Fabianski and boruc .

Jakupovic, Fabianski and Boruc are all better goalkeepers than Wayne Hennessey. I'll give you Guzan (although he hardly played last season anyway, Valdes was first choice) and Gomes.

Not good enough, end of. Stand in the middle of the goal for free kicks - just pretend it is a long range penalty. And no stepping the wrong way during the run up. Oh, and taking the odd cross in the 6 yard box would not go amiss. The goal Costa scored at Selhurst last year was pitiful. Someone like Peter Schmeichel would have come out punched it clear and knocked Costa flat in the process. I am not saying we need Peter Schmeichel, just have a bit more presence in and around the box. Rant over.

If we have ambitions to improve and finnish higher this coming season we need a new gk it's that's simple.

The main priority has to be the defence first, before look at the goalkeeper position. I didn't realise how weak the squad actually was. Edited by Dan89 (13 Jul 2017 4.04pm)
