Love it. Nowhere to hide on a rugby field if you’ve upset someone. After someone took a cheap shot at Wade Dooley (big mistake btw), Dooley turned round to the ref and said, “whatever you do, do not send that f@@ker off”.

As a defending player, there's nothing more intimidating that hitting someone as hard as you can, then watching them get up and seem like nothings happened.

Brings back memories of Muhammad Ali asking George Forman why he wasn't hitting him harder.

It's a shame footballers don't adopt the same mentality. If Wilf acted like that he'd go from scarring defenders to terrifying them.

Also, how is Conner Wickham injured all the time? The guys f***ing massive. Our fitness, strength, and conditioning training is concerning, despite the age of the players. Are we too cautious with injures? I dont really understand how one set of professional can go through the forces of multiple car crashes every game and another get dragged off every time they feel a twinges. Genuine question if anyone can answer it.

If the photos in the article are anything to go by, which they probably are, 7 England player remained standing and just 4 Swetty’s took the knee which means the majority are against it.

I appreciate it’s The Daily Mail which is total dross, but this is verified on BBC.

Taking a knee is just ludicrous, posturing nonsense that does not bring equality one millimetre nearer.

The reality is that many who have kneeled these past months would have done so due to pressure from the media, corporations and activists.

Once this utter ridiculous virtue signalling is over we will hear from them....probably once they retire.

I have seen myself just how insidious and unethical society is to those who differ against bandwagon opinion....the stake that sticks out is hammered down.

People lose jobs by not supporting lies as this is no longer a free society.

I'd never kneel myself, as it's not in my dna but I definitely have sympathy for those who felt compelled to by those forcing political messaging onto them.

This world has lost the plot. I take my hat off to Rudiger who has come out and said he ignores all the online racism. He knows who he is and is strong enough to deal with it. Now the government is threatening to fine Twitter etc.
Simple solution. Ban ALL the players using social media. This way racism ends there overnight. The online abuse is being delivered by a load of online losers who like many nowadays don’t have a life.
I posted a while back on here when Bolasie sent one of his black Everton mates a message with monkey/ baboon emojis in it and he got one back. Now twitter say those are fine.
Basically this is all undiluted drivel nonsense. If you are a sensitive type, like most pro footballers, stay away from all this modern self adulation and you will avoid faceless racism. I do have sympathy for those pushed into kneeing who think they might lose their job otherwise.....However, does that extend to millionaire footballers who just want a quiet life and aren't political?

I can see their point of view but I still view them as cowards all the same.....if money doesn't buy your freedom then what's its point. But then again, most footballers' brains are in their feet.
