Met Ray Stubbs in a bar in Richmond last night. Told my Polish girlfriend that he is a football tv host/pundit so when we were leaving, slightly annebriated after drinking flaming zombies (perfect drink after watching World War Z), she decided to go do an impromptu dance whilst singing the Match of the Day theme tune to the bloke Ray was sat with I had to explain that not only was it the wrong bloke she sang and danced at, but Stubbs isn't even on MOTD. Nice guy though and has a voice like buttered liquid gold

Miss Bolter rang me from a University Sports dinner in Edinburgh this evening to say that afer being given her table number found she had to spend the evening talking to John Inverdale and some lad who won a rowing Silver for GB at the Olympics last year. John was apparently down to earth and not a big stuck up charlie.Goes without saying she didn't of course know who he was.
